Northgate Athletics Update

Parent Athletic Education & Preparation for Playing at the Next Level -

Northgate Athletics and the College & Career Center at Northgate is excited to offer an educational presentation on Monday, November 3rd at 7:00pm in the Northgate Lecture Hall.

Northgate has partnered with the nationally recognized Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) this year in an effort to learn more about what it takes to be a well rounded and positive member of the Northgate athletic community.  The PCA offers workshops for student athletes, coaches and parents with an emphasis on education, expectations of roles and affect we all have on the game we participate in. The presentation on November 3rd is provided for the parent/guardian of our student athletes.

Immediately following the PCA presentation, our College & Career Coordinator, Linda Clark along with Athletic Director Steve Chappell will present "what it takes to play at the next level" - those interested in playing college athletics at the NCAA, NIAA and community college levels will receive information and guidance to prepare for sports at the next level with emphasis on course work, ACT/SAT, gpa, online registration and related factors.

For questions about the presentations, feel free to contact Steve Chappell at [email protected]
