This evening program is open to ALL Sears parents...and is especially recommended for parents of 4th and 5th graders.  We are hoping to make this program interactive as well as informative which will depend on the group size.  Accordingly, it would be helpful if you would Rsvp to Melissa Ross (mahross22@gmail.com) if you plan to attend.

Sears Benefit-Sears Has Heart

SEARS HAS HEART
Congratulations to Sears 7th grade student, Devlin Guthrie, for her artistic interpretation of this year's Benefit theme, SEARS HAS HEART!  Devlin's artwork was selected as our official logo because its image of students and adults (parents and teachers) working together with the four cornerstones represents the many ways our Joseph Sears School community has heart.  We received 14 other excellent entries, and we would like to thank those students for their time and effort.  Be on the lookout for those entries on a special SEARS HAS HEART display coming soon!  Recently each Sears family received an email introducing our logo and providing some details about this year's Benefit.  That information can be found here.  The official kick-off will happen in the next few weeks so be on the lookout for information in your mailbox soon.

Directories
If you did not pre-order a 'pocket directory' when you registered this year, there are a few extra copies available for sale $10/each.  If you would like to purchase one, please email Mindy Douthit, mindyjeff@sbcglobal.net. She will let you know if there are still copies available and how to send your payment.  No directories will be distributed until payment has been received.
