Announcements

Walk/Bike to School Next Week

The environmental Committee is delighted to announce that Monday, October 6 is the start of Walk/Bike to School Week, which continues through Thursday October 9. There will be a classroom/advisory contest for the class that bikes, scooters, skateboards and walks the most. A live stream of counts, updated daily, will appear on the monitor in the School's front entrance lobby. The winning class will have a Pizza Party in their classroom on their day of choice. The more times each child walks or bikes to school, the better chance his/her class has of winning! The Kenilworth Police Department will be outside of the School's front entrance Monday morning to remind each student to walk and bike safely to school. Parents: Please leave those cars at home if at all possible!

Sears Cafe

Sears Cafe is offering two options for lunch during the 2014-2015 school year:  Beyond Green Partners and Marla's Brown Bag.  All ordering for both vendors is done online. Ordering for the following week will remain open until Thursday at 8am. Please check the JSSPVA website for periodic vendor updates.
