Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) and the New England Addiction Technology Transfer Center. UNECOM is accredited by the Maine Medical Association Council on Continuing Medical Education and Accreditation to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Credit Designation
Physicians:
UNECOM designates this educational activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Substance Use Providers:
This conference has been approved by the following accreditation bodies: National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors for 6.5 educational credits (NAADAC Provider #000151). This course has also been approved by the Connecticut Certification Board for 6.5 continuing education credits (The CCB is an IC&RC affiliate).
Social Workers:
An application has been submitted to the National Association of Social Workers, Massachusetts for 6.5 credit hours.
Psychologists, and Other Licensed Treatment Providers:
All other licensed providers will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance. UNECOM designates this educational activity for a maximum of 6.5 University of New England contact hours for non-physicians. Contact hours may be submitted by non-physician, non-PA health professionals for continuing education credits.
