  • Seymour Senior Center
  • Chapel of the Cross (new site)

Chamber Has Endorsed 2015 Bond Referendums

At its October board meeting, the Chamber's board of directors voted unanimously to support the five bond referendums on the Town of Chapel Hill ballot.  The Chamber knows that these investments are critical for maintaining our town's infrastructure and quality of life.  While these referendums will not require a tax increase, the Chamber will continue to monitor Council decisions that impact the Town's property tax burden. 
EDPP: Come Learn about the Downtown Master Plan

At our monthly Economic Development & Public Policy (EDPP) Committee meeting on Nov. 5, we'll hear from Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership Executive Director Meg McGurk about the downtown master plan.  An initiative that started as Rosemary Imagined and became Downtown Imagined, learn about what are next steps in planning for our downtown's future.  At the same meeting, meet the new executive director of the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service Michael Reinke and their plans for a new project, FoodFirst.
