NUMBER 23 - DECEMBER 11, 2012
Ontario North East and Avon Maitland Locals at the Forefront of ETFO Strike Action

December 10th, 2012 - In the first day of rotating strikes across the province, hundreds of ETFO members in Avon Maitland and Ontario North East took to the streets to send the government a message that Bill 115 is severely impeding local collective bargaining.

Members of the Ontario North East teacher and occasional teacher locals braved the blustery weather and picketed at a number of locations in and around Timmins, Kapuskasing and New Liskeard.
