October is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month

The entire staff of Saint Luke's Hospital would like to express our deepest sympathy to those who have experienced the loss of a child, whether through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or neonatal death.

In 1988, President Reagan declared October as National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month to bring recognition to families who have suffered the loss of a child. In addition, Oct. 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Please join us in dedicating Oct. 15 to the families experiencing grief after the loss of a child.

For more information or additional resources, please contact the SLH Infant Loss and Grief Support Team at 816-932-0254.
