Saint Luke's Health System's new and improved website will officially go live on June 12.  But before the site goes live to the public, we want to give you a sneak peek at what's in store.

The new site features cleaner design and improved functionality and navigation to help patients, visitors, and referring physicians easily find the information they need. We've also added more customized content by facility and service line to better showcase our service offerings.

 

While we are excited to launch a new website, we must remember that SLHS is a large a complex organization - which means we have a large and complex website, too. Like any new site, there will likely be issues to resolve after the launch. Some of the issues may even require that we have to temporarily go back to our existing site. Our web team will be diligently tracking any problems and will work to resolve them as quickly as possible. After launch, we will continue to enhance the site with new content, features, and functionality. Watch future eRounds for more website updates.   

Mobile website

  

Mobile Site
The mobile version of the website features condensed versions of the most-accessed content on our website.

Did you know a recent study found that 46 percent of American adults own a smartphone and 25 percent own a tablet computer such as an iPad? Those numbers are growing every day, and more and more of our patients and visitors are visiting our website using a mobile device.

 

That's why when the new Saint Luke's website launches on June 12, we will also roll out a mobile-optimized version of our site. The mobile website will feature condensed versions of the most-accessed content on our site in a format that is easy to read and use on a smartphone or tablet. Mobile content will include:

  • Find a Doctor search tool
  • Locations and directions
  • Services and specialties
  • Patient and visitor information
  • Referring physician and transfer information
  • Latest news

 

The website will automatically display the mobile site if you access it from a mobile device.

Find a Doctor Tool  

 

Other than "careers," the Find a Doctor search tool is the most-accessed area of the Saint Luke's website. The tool is designed to help patients find the right doctor for their needs, whether it's a certain specialty or a doctor whose office is close to home or work. 

 

The improved physician profiles provide even more information than before to help patients choose a doctor.

 

Doctors can now share clinical interests, which can include things like diseases they specialize in treating, particular conditions they are interested in, or special procedures they do. Other new information in the doctors' profiles include:

  • Written bios
  • Publications
  • Related Saint Luke's services
  • Related content on the website, such as news article, podcast, or video
Each profile now includes a "Send to SMS" link that will send a text message to your phone with the doctor's office contact information.

Online bill pay  

 

You asked and we listened! Our patients wanted an easier way to pay their family's bills online, and the new website is making that possible. The My Saint Luke's Online Bill Pay tool now allows you to store your spouse's and dependents' information in a single My Saint Luke's Account to pay participating hospital and Saint Luke's Medical Group bills. You will no longer need to create separate My Saint Luke's accounts for each family member!

My Saint Luke's accounts

 

All existing My Saint Luke's accounts will transfer to the new website. Your existing username and password will work on the new site, and you will not need to re-enroll in services such as online bill pay.

 

Cafeteria menu

 

The cafeteria menu for each entity will now be available on the public website so both employees and visitors can access the menus. There will still be links on the Employee eLink to the cafeteria menus, as well as in the patients and visitors section for each hospital on the public website.

 

eLink and eStore  


The current Employee eLink will be unaffected by the public website launch on June 12. All existing employee content including payroll information, forms, and the document collections will remain as they are. Later this summer we will launch a brand new employee intranet - ePulse. Watch future

Links to the eLink and the eStore are now in the footer of the site, in the bottom right corner.

In addition, a few areas of the site may still be under construction when we launch the new site. Our web team is diligently working to complete these areas as quickly as possible.
