Notice - Spaces Still Available for Car Trunks to Pass Out Candy!
We still need some more people to bring their autos and pass out candy tomorrow night at the Trunk or Treat Festival - and we will take candy donations through Friday afternoon! The fun will begin at 6:30 PM in the south WACC parking lot and will last until the candy runs out! Contact Billy Kersh in the church office (352-1442) if you would like to participate.

Daylight Savings Time Ends This Weekend
Be sure to set your clocks back an hour when you go to bed Saturday night. Get that extra hour of sleep you lost last spring!

Operation Christmas Child “Shoeboxes” Are In
WACC is partnering with Samaritan’s Purse this year for Operation Christmas Child. Individuals/families may pick up their “shoeboxes” at the information desk or in the church office. If you would like, you may opt to use an averaged sized shoe box or small plastic container. These are to be filled specifically for a boy or a girl with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, etc. Brochures are available at the information desk or you may visit samaritanspurse.org for details. We will have Celebration Operation Christmas Child at WACC on November 15 and 16; bring your shoeboxes at that time to be sent to children in need across the world. If you are unable to be present in worship that day, you may bring your shoeboxes by the church office before that date.

Save the Date!
Come “Deck the Halls and Walls” at WACC on Monday, November 24. We will need both muscle and finesse. There will be more details to follow.

For WACC Women
A note from Mindy Briggs, Director of Women’s Ministries:
Ladies, you may be starting to feel a time crunch as we begin this crazy fall holiday season. You are encouraged to hang in there! I find that I have time for the things I make a priority - unfortunately, I am not always the best at prioritizing my time! The best schedule-organizer I have found is prayer. If you will make the time to pray for yourself and the craziness that makes up your schedule, you may be surprised at how well God can help you create a little order in what seems to be hopelessly hectic. Remember that God is a God of Grace, so why not show a little of that grace to yourself and give yourself permission to not be all things to all people? Trust in Him, and He will help you with the priority-setting. Your Women’s Ministry team prays for the women of WACC, but we would be honored to pray for you specifically if there is anything you want to share with us. Life is challenging; we are here for you if needed.

Young Adult Bible Study
WACC has a Bible study for young adults. The group meets at the Bible Chair of the Southwest (512 SW 22nd, on the AC campus) on Monday nights from 8:30-9:30 PM for fellowship, study, and coffee. Contact Travis Vaclavik or Jon Kohler for more information.

Online Giving is Available on CCB for One-time or Repeat Use
You can give your tithes and offerings online through CCB - simply go to the church website (www.wacconline.org) and click on the CCB LOGIN box, login, & go to your profile page, following the instructions. If you need help to login to CCB, contact LeJean Richardson in the church office (352-1442).

Join Us on Monday Evening for Bowling!
Everyone (including kids and youth accompanied by a parent) is invited to join in the fun on Monday evenings at Western Bowl, at 6:45 PM. This is not a league, it is just bowling for the fun of it whenever you have a free Monday evening and want to have some fun with friends and church family in a smoke-free environment. Games are $1.50 and so are shoes. The only catch is that you have to contact Billy Kersh or Cathy Ashford by 5:00 PM on Monday to let them know if you will be bowling that evening.
