HIGH SCHOOL CREDITS OPPORTUNITY
High School Students and Parents,
Boone County Schools has an exciting opportunity for HS students to earn High School credits over the summer. These classes will count in the GPA and may count for career pathways. By taking classes over the summer, students can 1) improve their GPA, 2) make room for career pathways classes or Early College in their yearly schedule, and 3) learn in an online personalized format with only 3 in-person classes. **Current 8th grade students with 85% and above in 8th grade math can take algebra through summer classes in order to advance to geometry in high school. **Students who are interested in robotics or robotics careers can get a head start on robotics pathways courses, too. **Classes in health/pe and digital literacy still available.
Orientation/ information session will be on June 6. Students will have options for the three 3 in-person classes. We will contact you about time/ location. If you have any questions, please contact Karen Cheser at Karen.cheser@boone.kyschools.us
