Transportation Challenges
If your child rides the bus to school we want to alert of you a few challenges we typically see at the beginning of a school year.

Boone County is a wonderful place to live and as a result there are many people moving into our school district.  Getting them all enrolled and assigned to the correct bus is one of those challenges.  This often results in established bus routes needing to be re-routed in order to avoid overcrowding.  Occasionally that re-routing needs to take place after school has started when actual student numbers are being seen.  We appreciate the patience that our parents extend to us as we work to re-create our routing in these areas.
Our transportation department is committed to the safety and success of all of our students and is working diligently to bring about excellence in our routing processes.
We thank all of our parents who help make the transportation department's jobs easier.

MIDDLE SCHOOL First Day

R.A. Jones Middle School--Students were introduced to a new look at their school when they arrived.  Jones Middle has a new Crest and Flags on the outside and on the inside flags representing each country students are from will soon hang in the entryway.

As students arrived to school they were treated to a line of enthusiastic greeters including school staff, teachers, administrators and Principal Tony Pastura. It's a new Jones Pride tradition to greet students with a huge line of staff and at the end of the school year to say goodbye.
