Elementary Honor Choir Concert

Boone County School District Elementary Music Teachers collaborated to create the first ever Elementary Honor Choir Concert.  The concert was held at Erpenbeck Elementary School last month and the choir consisted of talented students from Boone County Elementary Schools. The elementary music teachers wanted to give students across the district a chance to showcase their talents.  The plan is for this to be an annual concert with a different elementary music teacher conducting each year.  Former Erpenbeck Elementary School Principal Becky Brown played piano for the concert. Singers came from the following elementary schools:
Burlington, Collins, Erpenbeck, Florence, Goodridge, Kelly, Longbranch, Mann, New Haven, North Pointe, Ockerman, Stephens, Thornwilde and Yealey.

Thank you for supporting Boone County Schools!

Florence Freedom held a fundraiser for Boone County Schools last month during a game between the Freedom and the Frontier Greys at UC Health Stadium.  The fundraiser is called Community Night and featured a softball game between the Boone County Schools Administrative Staff and the Teaching Staff before the actual game.  As you can see from the pictures below it was fun.  The blue team won!
