Boone County Biology Teacher Wins NABT Award!
Congratulations to Lenny Beck of Boone County High School. Beck went from Outstanding Biology Teacher Award honoree to the winner of the National Association of Biology Teachers of Kentucky.
Every year, the Outstanding Biology Teacher Award (OBTA) program recognizes an outstanding biology educator from grades 7-12 in each state. Candidates winning this award compete for the NABT award. They are expected to have devoted a major part of their career to the teaching of biology/life science, and candidates are judged on their teaching ability and experience, cooperativeness in the school and community, inventiveness, initiative, and student-teacher relationships.
