ELEMENTARY NEWS

Join the Summer Reading Team and put not only the principal but the assistant principal on the roof top of Florence Elementary for the entire day!
Florence Elementary is prompting their students to work toward 4,000 hours of reading this summer. That means every student must READ this summer to reach our goal to see Mrs. Lisa Resing's smiling face on the roof top. It is recommended that each student read 10 minutes per day or 1 hour per week. A parent reading aloud to the student also counts. If Florence Elementary school has the most hours in Boone County then, oh yes... Mr. David Jones will join her in the heat! The administrator duo posed with great anticipation of what is to come when the final results are calculated after the summer break. Healthy Newborns Project Stephens Elementary PTA and Strong Fathers for Stephens Elementary will be recognized on a permanent plaque on the new Healthy Newborn's Home.
