As you know the Boone County School district has had to close school for 11 days so far due to snow and ice.  Some of those days will have to be made up.  Last night the School board voted to change the current school calendar to reflect the make up days.  Students will attend school on President's Day, Monday February 17th and Friday April 18th.  Other changes to the school calendar include students attending school on March 14th because they cannot attend on May 20th which is Primary Election Day in the Commonwealth. Full details are provided in this letter to parents.
