Coat Drive at Highland Park
For the 5th year, Highland Park Discovery Club has been collecting winter coats for Joseph's Coat. Joseph's Coat is a free store providing essential goods and services (clothing, household items, hygiene products) to those in need in the Saint Paul community - over 1,000 people each week!
The kids spent a lot of time decorating posters to display around the school and encourage donating. Last year they collected almost 100 items and we hope to do the same or better this year. Thank You to all the Highland Park families who have donated already!

Giving Thanks at Four Seasons
Four Seasons Discovery Club spent the last two weeks of November reflecting on what they are thankful for. As one of the Discovery Club 'hubs,' Four Seasons has many students joining them from several different schools. They are thankful that they have been able to meet so many new friends from many different schools. One of their activities was to make a Thankful Tree; kids made leaves with their hands and wrote the things they are thankful for on them. It was a nice opportunity to stop and reflect on the good things they have and people they care about.
