The American Legion & the USPS have teamed up to send care packages to Minnesota service men & women overseas. Discovery Club will once again be participating, and encouraging our school partners at Riverview & J.J. Hill to join us. We will write letters, make cards, and collect items November 4-22. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to think about the men and women who serve our country, as well as work on letter writing skills, penmanship, and creative art skills. Additional donations will be gathered in specially marked boxes near the main entrance of J.J. Hill.

Donation ideas: seasonal treats, instant and regular coffee, iTunes gift cards, Keurig K-cups, powdered coffee creamer, flavored drink mix, breakfast bars, fruit roll-ups, dark chocolate, freezie pops, Q tips-(in zip-lock bags), greeting cards, stationary supplies, canned fruit, nail files, sunflower seeds, CDs, DVDs
