We Day
Welcome back from the Saint Paul Public Schools Service Learning Program. We are excited to continue supporting educators and students across Saint Paul in the 2013-2014 school year and have many opportunities to engage in Service Learning!

Professional Development
Plan to attend our trainings and register on PDExpress:

We Act & We Day Minnesota
On October 8 more than 600 students from 17 Saint Paul middle and high schools with attend We Day at the Xcel Energy Center. The event will kick off a year of local and global service learning projects in Saint Paul Public Schools as part of the We Act program. After We Day, be ready to plan and brainstorm with students. Register for a Service Learning training (above) to help prepare for your We Act projects!

Know a Teen with Leadership Potential?
The Youth Leadership Team (YLT) is still accepting applications! This is a new opportunity for 9-12 graders across Saint Paul to work together to impact important issues in their community. To apply, follow the application instructions and send to Rachel.Katkar@spps.org (deadline October 1). 

Pay It Forward Tour
Coming soon and spots are limited! High school students (grades 9-12) will travel from Saint Paul to St. Louis, Missouri October 16-20 performing community service in a different community each day, developing leadership skills, building lasting relationships, and visiting two colleges along the way.

Apply online - full price is $310 (need-based financial aid available - to learn more, email financialaid@stlf.net with subject "St. Paul High School Tour").
