Howdy from frigid Montana! Brrrrr!
I want to wish you all a happy and prosperous holiday season! It might be too much to ask for a WARM one too, wow. But despite the weather, I've been busier than normal, producing lots of new pieces for my upcoming show season.

I'm continuing to enjoy using oils, painting in a slightly looser style and with rich colors. I'm anxious to see how the new pieces are received at my shows. Here's a few samples of recent work...

I attended an art workshop here in Montana, and got some pretty cool photos of the animals they had there for photographers. I also learned more about oil painting from the instructor; workshops are very inspirational, you're never too old to learn.

Learning new things seems to be a pattern this year; I've just finished my first bronze sculpture, a Lord Derby eland, thanks to a private class with my buddy Jocelyn Russell.

After that, I decided to give kiln-fired fused glass a try, and I'll have several of these glass pieces at the Safari Club show. It's a lot of fun to branch out a little!

I have quite a few shows coming up; I'd love to see you at one of them! If you need any extra info, feel free to give me a call or dash off an email. See you there!
