Career Center Job Shadow Program

The UCI Career Center invites students and parent professionals to participate in the 3rd Annual Job Shadow Program! This year, it will take place any day(s) of a host organization's choosing from March 21 to March 24, 2016.

The Job Shadow Program is a chance for both employers and UCI undergraduate students to connect and interact in a real-life work setting. Host organizations have the opportunity to mentor students and help them learn about career fields and job functions while also creating organizational brand awareness on campus.

For UCI students, this is a valuable way to explore career interests and get a better understanding of what kind of career they may want to pursue in the future.

To participate in the Job Shadow Program, please apply using the online form: http://goo.gl/forms/c6gNa9haFP

Host Registration Deadline: January 19, 2016 at 5 p.m.

For questions or additional information, please email jsp@uci.edu
UCI fit for sustainable foodies

This academic year, UCI is a campus fit for foodies, having prepared a feast of events and activities that explore and expand upon the role food plays in the major social, political and scientific issues of the day.

From cooking demonstrations by visiting eco-chef Roger Feely to an all-day Global Food Summit, the roster addresses a wide range of topics - all under the umbrella of food - that draw together students, staff, faculty, and some of UCI's most dynamic centers and academic initiatives.
