Each summer, MARC is privileged to invest ourselves into the lives of hundreds of youth from the many remote villages of Alaska by providing their flight transportation to Bible Camp.
Yes, it's expensive to fly youth from a small village on St. Lawrence Island in the middle of the Bering Sea all the way to Fairbanks to attend Bible camp. In fact, it's not unusual for a flight to cost over $600 per kid from some of the more remote locations across our massive state, even when carrying a full load of passengers.
But, the alternative cost is immeasurably staggering, because we know that connecting the youth of Alaska with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ is ultimately their only true hope. Thank you! to the many faithful stewards who helped make another successful summer of Kids to Camp flying possible this year. Every single youth we flew to camp this year was indeed worth it!

| Thanks for Making a Difference |
We started out the summer knowing we were facing a huge challenge this year to fund our annual Kids to Camp program... but, then God intervened.
He excited the hearts of almost twice as many supporters this year to make large and small donations-and every one was perfectly matched to meet the needs.
Through the sacrificial donations of many faithful stewards, God enabled MARC to provide flight scholarships for 242 youth to attend Bible Camp this summer. Yes, we know some camps in the Lower 48 routinely have that many kids in a single week, but Alaska is unique... and every single youth we carry to camp is more than precious to Christ and us.
Let's not forget how Jesus exemplified His approach to ministry when he challenged religious "leaders" to change the way they calculated success. One lost sheep, one individual in need of a Savior is exactly what we have been instructed to seek.
Thank you for helping MARC do exactly that this summer... one flight, one village, one kid, one Gospel opportunity at a time!

| Federal Employees You Can Help |
The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) allows federal employees to designate their charitable contributions directly to MARC during the annual campaign that begins in September.
MARC can be found on the national/international part of the CFC charity list. Our CFC code is 52947.

God Has Wonderfully Blessed This Summer

Summer is always a welcome event in Alaska. The abundance of God's blessings surrounds us and manifests itself in many forms: sunshine, fish, berries, flowers, migrating birds, and lots of ministry opportunities. Our MARC team throttles up to full power in the summer to support the many needs.
This summer we've had a blast supporting construction and repair projects for several churches across the state, carrying ministry teams to VBS and other village ministry events, and supporting the continued rebuilding efforts in flood-damaged Galena.
Each team we've carried for Child Evangelism Fellowship events has been special. Every pastor and missionary we've helped resupply for winter has been a blessing. And each repair our mechanics have made on ministry aircraft has been a joy.
The surrounding pictures can't really tell the full story, but we know you'll rejoice with us at the many lives impacted for Christ this summer. Thank you!
