Each March, many inspiring Iditarod teams reenact the lifesaving race that carried the cure to diphtheria stricken Native Alaskans in the remote village of Nome back in 1925.
Today, delivering hope is no less essential for the youth of Alaska as they endure the heartbreaking norms of suicide, alcohol, addiction, and abuse that constantly inundate their lives. We know that hope is the love of Jesus Christ!
One of our favorite events each year is flying the non-profit Christian organization appropriately named Carry the Cure, along with the internationally known Native American musical group Broken Walls to minister to the youth throughout many remote Alaskan villages in conjunction with the famed annual Iditarod Trail sled dog race.
This highly-effective team is dedicated to the eradication of youth suicide and substance abuse, and they share our love for the youth of Alaska. Together we know that the unconditional love of Jesus Christ is the needed cure!
Once again we're asking for your prayers as we make advance preparations for this life-changing event in early March. Pray God will prepare the trail ahead of us and bless these combined ministry efforts.
You can help us Carry the Cure to seven remote Alaskan villages this winter. Join in by making a financial donation to fund this trip and help give wings to Alaskan missions.
Donate today and make a real difference!
