Why LinkedIn Matters for Your Career
Do you have a LinkedIn profile? If so, have you discovered any of the possible benefits because of having this profile? If not, this may be the time to consider creating a profile. LinkedIn offers a free basic account and a profile is set up in a format similar to a resume. This allows you to find other professionals that you can network with and also professional organizations to join that also provides both networking and resources related to your career. I've provided the link to my profile below. If you would like to share some of your success stories from using LinkedIn please send them to me and I'll include them in an upcoming article.

If you sign up for resume writing service this month, I will provide you with a free LinkedIn profile evaluation. If you do not yet have a profile I will help you decide what information you should include when you do create a profile.

Why Stress Must be Managed
Is stress something you read about and don't consider or is it an issue you are constantly battling? It is possible that you do not realize how far-reaching its affects are until you shut down or become overwhelmed.

Stress is often the product of many factors: feeling overwhelmed, too many responsibilities, health concerns, financial concerns, and the list continues. It usually builds up over time and if left unchecked stress can have negative consequences.

If you have any indicators, don't ignore the signs. This includes frustration, anxiety, anger, missed deadlines, and the list continues. Be alert, be on the lookout, and take proactive action. Schedule some downtime, read a book or do something to change your perspective, and if you have a support group (family, friends, colleagues) talk to them. Don't let stress take hold of you and reach a point where your health is at risk.
