Scenes from Oak Hill
From the Director:

All I can say is things are REALLY cooking at Oak Hill. On Saturday the 3rd, Home Depot is coming with their full team to completely refurbish our edible and ornamental garden, with new fencing and plant material, plus planters, trees, a stage area in the "redwood grove" and a figure eight labyrinth path of rocks next to it in the front landscape. On Sunday, expect to find us in the Marin Independent Journal with a big photo of the Manzanita's pancake breakfast. We are honored there as a beneficiary of United Market's sponsorship. If you're a Marinite, or even if you're not, you can shop proudly at Home Depot or United Market to appreciate their largesse. Thanks to Willow class and garden teacher Arriel Adler for coordinating these events.

We'll be cooking and feasting with the Harvest Dinner on Wednesday at 5:00 pm. Although Il Fornaio (thanks to former OH parent Laura Hislop) is donating some platters of pasta for our party, this is a potluck - a big part of the fun. Parents will be called by Manzanita teacher Jill Nakagawa to find out what they're bringing, so if that means you, stay tuned.
