The 2016 Motor Trend International Auto Show opens tomorrow, February 4th and will run until Sunday, February 7th.  Spread the word to your employees and customers, this year's show is bigger and better!

The State Highway Administration has contacted the Motor Vehicle Administration in regards to dealers displaying their vehicles on the state right of way.  

When vehicles are displayed in the right of way this causes a safety hazard.  We are requesting all dealers to make sure they are safely displaying their vehicles and they are not on State Highway property or right of way.

Failure to comply with the above may result in citations being issued to your dealership.  If you require additional information please contact your local State Highway Administration. 

Save the date for the MADA / VADA / WANADA Reception at the NADA?ATD Convention & Expo in Las Vegas!

The Maryland Automobile Dealers Association Foundation [MADAF] is actively seeking deserving students to apply for our 2016-2017 educational scholarships. Founded in 2010, MADAF's mission is to provide educational benefits to those wishing to pursue career opportunities which will directly benefit the Maryland new car automobile dealership industry.  

Scholarships will be awarded to current students, current dealership employees, and/or future students pursuing courses with the intent to work in and contribute to the success of a Maryland new car automobile dealership.  Examples of acceptable coursework include an automotive training program, a technical institute program, or general college credit courses designed to serve the Maryland automotive dealership industry.

Applicants for the scholarship may be any student enrolled in the 2016-2017 academic year at a community college, four-year university, or a non-degree post-secondary technical training program.  Applicants should be sponsored by a MADA dealer member in good standing or have a dealer member as a co-sponsor.  If you are not aware if your local dealer is a MADA member, please contact the Foundation at 800.526.7423 and we will be happy to assist you in finding an appropriate co-sponsor.

A full list of criteria can be found on page 3 of the Application Packet.  The Application Packet also includes a concise list of all required documents, the majority of which are included in the packet.  The application must be postmarked by March 31, 2016.  Winners will be notified by mail no later than May 1, 2016.
