New Webinars Announced from DealersEdge

Date/Time: Thursday, April 10 at 1pm Eastern

Presenter: Brooke Samples

Cost: $149.00 per person

We have learned that, given the opportunity, some dealership employees (even those who are long term valued team members... and seemingly very loyal) can and will steal.  The big questions are, "which ones?" and "how do you stop this before temptation gets the better of them?"

Using actual cases of dealership employee theft and her own unique viewpoint, Brooke Samples presents a workshop describing how managers on the ground can take action to reduce this all too common and disheartening problem.  In this webinar, you will learn the following:

  • The two most important steps you can take today to reduce opportunities for employees to steal
  • In which dealership departments are you most likely to find theft and/or embezzlement
  • Why your most trusted and long-term employees should receive even greater scrutiny
  • How to identify theft/risk areas and how to prioritize counter measures
  • How to stop the losses and save good people from self-destruction

#2: New NLRB "Quickie Election" Rules Make Dealers Vulnerable...What to do when the Union comes knocking...

Date/Time: Thursday, April 17 at 1pm Eastern

Presenter: Steven Bernstein Esq.

Cost: $149.00 per person

Upending representation procedures that have stood the test of time, the U.S. National Labor Relations Board has revised its proposed rules in an apparent effort to expedite the union election process.

Unions are expected to capitalize on these regulatory changes by stepping up organizing activity in an effort to reverse decades of decline.  Labor law specialist Steven Bernstein J.D. will join DealersEdge for a workshop reviewing what you can legally do when the Union comes knocking.  This webinar will cover the following:
  • Recent developments at the NLRB and their impact on dealerships
  • The latest tactics employed by organizers targeting retail automotive
  • The early warning signs of union activity and how to react
  • Practical and lawful steps to effectively communicate with employees
  • "Quickie Elections" and how to operate within the new compressed time table
  • How to implement lawful policies to protect your dealership from organization efforts
