MADA Presents Employment Law Workshop
The Maryland Automobile Dealers Association invites Dealers/Managers to a half-day employment law workshop presented by attorneys from Shawe & Rosenthal, LLP.
A Variety of Topics Will be Addressed Including:

MADA Announces Spring Title & Registration Seminars
The Maryland Automobile Dealers Association, along with managers from the Motor Vehicle Administration, will present a seminar that offers the opportunity to learn new procedures and review old procedures.
Due to the constant changes of regulations governing the sale of a vehicle, MADA strongly encourages individuals from the F&I, Sales, Business Management, and Title & Registration Departments to attend this seminar. We will also address any titling and registration changes as a result of the 2013 Legislative Session.

Inspections are almost always unannounced, and rarely come at a time when it is convenient for you - are you prepared?
Environmental and Safety Regulators at both the State and Federal levels have certainly made their presence felt in the new car dealer market. We'll review what inspectors have been addressing during these visits, and what you need to have in place to protect your dealership from taking out your checkbook. Rob Stansbury will teach you how to develop and implement a plan of action for when an inspector shows up on your doorstep.

MADA Supplied Forms Cost to Increase
Effective May 1st, the price of the Secured Dealer Reassignment (VR-182) will increase to $20.00 per package of 100 and the price of the Initial Privacy Notice will increase to $15.00 per package of 100. There will be change in the price of the Secured Power of Attorney (VR-279) or the Dealer Processing Charge Brochure. An updated order form is attached.
