Since obtaining our nonprofit status in September 2009, the Community Foundation of Huntsville/Madison County has established 76 donor advised funds, 1 corporate giving fund, 16 nonprofit funds, 3 fiscal sponsorships, and
1 designated fund together totaling over $8,000,000. The Foundation has distributed nearly $1,400,000 to nonprofits and churches on behalf of donors. |

Giving Back to the Community

 Our Board of Directors recently adopted a policy to allow donors, with accounts as low as $25,000, to use their own external fund managers when they establish funds with the Community Foundation.
Brian Jones, financial advisor at Wells Fargo, serves as an external fund manager with the Community Foundation, "This month, we are celebrating the one-year anniversary of my client's fund at the Community Foundation. I have been able to maintain the relationship that I've developed with my client over the years. The Community Foundation has been able to partner with us to facilitate my client's charitable giving. The result has been positive for my client and positive for the community."
When you partner with the Community Foundation, you stay in control of your client relationships. We provide the resources and expertise to help you give your clients charitable-giving options tailored to their needs.  - Enabling individuals and companies to give efficiently
- Agency Fund
- Providing a safety net for our nonprofits
- Designated or Special Project Fund
- Directing gifts to specific agencies or purposes
- Fiscal Sponsorship Fund
- Holding funds for a start-up nonprofit
- Field of Interest Fund
- Addressing needs in an important area of community life: arts, environment, aging, at-risk youth, etc.

- Providing funding for secondary or higher education for students
