High School Students in the 205 School District were encouraged to submit a design for a proposed combo bench/bike rack for the YPN Rock the Block project on Broadway. FHA Serving Up Changes On Condos

Ed Golding, FHA Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, announced at the NAR REALTORS Conference that there will be some immediate and future changes to the Administration's Condo Policy. Second homes will now be removed from the definition of investment property, so more units can meet the 50 percent owner-occupant threshold, allowable insurance for condo associations has now expanded, and the condo board re-certification process has been simplified. Click here to access a video explaining the changes.

Don't Share Your SentriLock!

The holiday season might be a time for sharing, but the Association would like to remind its members not to be so kind when it comes to your SentriLock. There is a fine of up to $2,500 to any holder of a SentriLock card if they are found to have let another person use their card. In addition, there is a fine for entering a property without an appointment. Please review your MLS/CIE Policy Regarding SentriLock and Smart Cards, specifically # 5 and #6.

Bring More Than a Fork

Do you ever show up at a Potluck Dinner with just a fork and not a dish to pass? Only 28% of the members of the Illinois Association of REALTORS have given to RPAC for the year 2015.
That means 62% of the members are benefiting from the meal without bringing a dish to pass. RPAC gives you a lot of reasons to be thankful for this year. Here are just a few ways how RPAC helps you and your Clients. Don't be a scrooge this holiday season. All it takes is $20 to become an RPAC participant. There is a bonus if you do! Take a peek!
