ROCK THE BLOCK Water Battle
On Thursday, June 18, the YPN Council will be hosting an Epic Water Battle Tournament to help raise money for the Rock the  Block Beautification project taking place in August. The event will be held at Sportscore II located at 8800 E. Riverside Boulevard. Join a team as a participant, support a team by buying them ammunition, or just come out to cheer the participants on. Tuesday Tunes in the Garden
Tuesday, June 23
On Tuesday, June 23rd, the Rockford Area REALTORS will be hosting a private reception on the East and West decks of the Visitors Center located in Anderson Gardens. Take a tour of the gardens, listen to the tunes of Jakubi while viewing the crowd in an elevated environment, and enjoy Woodfire Pizza & dessert by locally owned Zammuntos. In addition, we will be honoring the retirement of Association legal counselors, Keith and Nancy Hyzer.

Our Region is Recovering
The Rockford area is pulling out from a long and difficult trend but new waves of opportunity are showing. All the work that has been done to achieve sustainable economic recovery is starting to pay off. The unemployment rate has dropped to 5.8% in 2015, down from 8.2% in April of 2014. Invitation to Participate in the Alignment Rockford Math Tudor Program
Alignment Rockford is looking for volunteers to be math tudors for 6th grade students at Kennedy Middle School for the 2015-16 school year. Tudors will mentor students for one hour, one time per week to show them how math concepts apply to life and work. To read more or to register click here.
