Leadership Team Travels to Springfield
 
Hundreds of REALTORS® made the journey to Springfield for the annual lobby day which included a legislative issues briefing,
lunch, meetings with legislators, and a reception for REALTORS® and legislators. The Rockford Area REALTORS leadership team and several of its members participated in the two-day event which included the Housing Conference on Monday March 31st and Capitol Conference on Tuesday, April 1st. The real estate industry has a very strong voice at Capitol Hill when it comes to protecting the rights of private property owners. 

GOVERNOR PROPOSES REBATE

During his state budget address on March 26th, Gov. Quinn said he wants to provide every homeowner in Illinois with an annual $500 Property Tax Rebate. He's also asking lawmakers to make the 2011 tax increase permanent. Read more.

Google Universe Bootcamp

Problems with Viewing E-mails 

For those of you who may be experiencing problems viewing some of our e-mail communications, here are a few tips to help resolve this issue. 1. Always, always, always remember to diligently clear your cache/cookies on whatever internet browser you are using. This is a basic computer maintenance necessity. 2. Try using a different internet browser. What works in Firefox, doesn't always work in Internet Explorer, and likewise with Chrome. 4. Keep your browsers updated using the latest versions. 3. And last but not least, our e-mails will include a link at the top that says, "If you are having problems viewing.....click here."
