Google Plus & IFTTT

Communication specialists at the NAR convention stated that google+ , currently a male dominated channel, will be something to keep your eye on. It is speculated that google+ will take over Facebook in up and coming years.

Another up and coming tool in the communication world is IFTTT (If This Then That). This free online tool allows you to connect otherwise unrelated app, web and mobile services and become a master of the Internet. For example, if you have a blog site that you want to receive instant notifications of updates you can link the site to your e-mail by creating what is referred to as a "recipe" that involves a trigger and action.

What to Do Next on Healthcare

The National Association of REALTORS will be holding a webinar on December 12th, at 11:00am. Marcia Salkin, NAR managing director of public policy, will cover complying with the law whether you have insurance already or are looking for coverage; Kristin Maurelia, NAR managing director of the Realtor Benefits Program will introduce the REALTORS Insurance Marketplace, NAR's online resource for identifying and purchasing coverage; and Shannon Kennedy, president of Realtor Benefits Program partner SASid, the operator of the REALTORS Insurance marketplace, will provide a step-by-step walk-through of NAR's exchange.
