Foreclosure Lead Assignment Company can be a Scam
The Association would like to remind its members to be aware of unscrupulous organizations who offer to provide you leads if you sign up with their company, especially if they require a fee to be paid up front. Some of these organizations are not legitimate and require collecting the fee up front and fail to deliver any actionable leads. Do your research before sending any monies!

FHA is continuing its commitment to fully evaluate borrowers who have experienced periods of financial difficulty due to extenuating circumstances. FHA recognizes that the negative credit history experienced by these borrowers may not fully reflect their true ability to repay a mortgage. Read more about this program summarized in an article by Brian Stanley of Riverside Community Bank.

Lock Box Conversion
The Rockford Area REALTORS will be converting to a new lock box vendor and system, Sentrilock, in the Spring. We will continue to use our existing Supra lock boxes until April 2014.
Effective immediately, the Association will no longer be able to add Supra lock boxes from outside of our currently registered inventory. If an additional Supra lock box is needed, you may purchase a new one from the Association office or a used one (which is already part of our registered inventory) from a current or former Rockford Area Realtors member.
