Representatives from the newly organized HOMESTART, formerly known as the Rockford Area Affordable Housing Coalition, will be presenting information at the Rockford Area REALTORS meeting Facility that could be beneficial for you to know.

On Tuesday, April 16th, from 1:30-2:30 fire
there will be a free session to educate you on:
  • What it means to have a NeighborWorks America organization in Rockford and its benefits for the real estate industry
  • What pending opportunities are in the pipeline that could affect your business in a positive manner
  • How the City of Rockford and HomeStart are working together in this new venture in regards to downpayment assistant programs

April 9th Election Summary 

Victorious in 7 of 14 the races locally, RPAC became heavily involved in a number of tough races in the recent election.  

Without your support, we would not be able to have the positive results we had on April 9th.

PARAGON UPDATES paragon

LPS MLS is happy to announce the completion of Project 200/100! Several Paragon customers requested that Paragon invest some time to focus in on "smaller" changes to Paragon to make it better.

HUD Seminar

On Thursday, April 25th from 10:00-11:00am,there will be a HUD seminar at the Rockford Area REALTORS meeting facility. There have been a lot of changes in regards to the new "Buyer Select Closing Agent" program. Come to this free seminar to find out how the changes affect you. No registration required.  

Flood Safety and FEMA

Flood Safety Awareness Week was in March, but with the recent abundance of rain, it would certainly be a good time to review some flood safety tips and tools from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Remember to always check local zoning laws, ordinances, building codes, and covenants before adding a workshop or studio to your property. Were you aware that your Association has a Home Study CE Program? This is a quick option for those needing to renew their Illinois Managing Broker Licensees by April 30th renewal deadline and a great way to keep your investment in your own Association.

Only courses taken through the IAR/RAR CE school can be proctured at your local Association.

Licensees can renew online at IDFPR.com.
