REALTORS® Celebrate 100 Years of the Code
2013 marks the 100th year members of the National Association of REALTORS have subscribed to a strict Code of Ethics. It is these core values and commitment to excellence that distinguishes a real estate agent from a REALTOR ® who is bound to the Code of Ethics as a condition of membership to the National Association of REALTORS. "The Code of Ethics is one way REALTORS® demonstrate value to home buyers, sellers and investors" says NAR President Moe Veissi. "Buying a home is one of the most important investments people will make in their lifetimes, so having a REALTOR ® who abides by a Code of Ethics can provide an added layer of security." Make sure your clients understand the relevance of this in terms of the service you provide them. For more details, visit http://www.realtor.org/coecentennial. Also view the new video developed by NAR called "A Pathway to Professional Conduct: Respect Starts Here". Top of Page
