New Amazon Smile Program - Update your Bookmark!

THE AMAZON PROGRAM HAS CHANGED!

The PV-PTO is now part of the Amazon Smile program. Please bookmark this new link (https://smile.amazon.com/ch/20-2707177) to ensure your Amazon purchases contribute towards our schools. If you start your Amazon shopping through this specific link or go to smile.amazon.com, Portola Valley School District PTO will receive 0.5% of your purchase. You should see no difference in your shopping experience.

Thank You, Bianchini's!

First of all, a huge thank you to Kevin Bianchini for being such a generous sponsor of our schools. He and his team donated 5% of all sales on Wednesday, May 11th to Ormondale and Corte Madera.

We had a steady turnout of shoppers last Wednesday and managed to link an impressive number of Bianchini Rewards cards to our PV schools through the eScrip programme.  Why is this great news? Well, now 4% of those monthly cardmember sales will come to us!  So, if you have not linked your Bianchini's card to PV schools, email Sarah Dorahy ([email protected]) and we will quickly get you connected. Also, watch out for sign-up opportunities on campus. It doesn't cost you a cent but it adds up for our schools.

Renata Dionello and the PTO set up this eScrip/Bianchini's event up with several supportive parents on hand to greet shoppers at Bianchini's. The following parents worked in shifts from 9am until 2pm, last Wednesday, promoting the program to our local shoppers and thereby sending $ our way!  Many thanks to: Karen Tate, Brooke Day, Susan McLaughlin, Jenni Farrell, Hayley Leinfelder, Shannon Basch, Michelle Bellomo and, of course, Renata.

Also, thank you to all of you who turned up to shop big on our first ever 5% from Bianchini's Day.  We make a special mention of that generous Kindergarten parent who stocked her wine cellar.....

Thank you eScrip and Bianchini's!  Shop locally - it benefits us all!

4th Annual CMS Walk-To-Washington DC

It's time for the 4rd Annual CMS Walk-To-Washington DC this Friday, May 20th, 2016 from 2:30pm-3:00pm on the CMS Field.

This Walk-To-Washington is a major fundraising event for Corte Madera School. Traditionally, proceeds benefit the current 8th Grade Class that is headed to Washington DC to bring their US History and Government curriculum to life as young citizens of the United States. We are proud to announce
that our 8th Grade Class has already raised enough money for their trip in June, so all proceeds from this years' Walk-To-Washington will benefit the 4th-7th Grade DC Trips in the future. We invite you to support this educational experience for our children with a tax-deductible contribution.

Please remember to turn your donation forms in this week!
