PVSD's 1st Bike/Walk to school day of 2016 was a great success!

Both Ormondale and Corte Madera students did it again! Students eagerly embraced the wonderful weather and, with friends and family, participated in the PVSD BWTS days this week. It was wonderful to observe groups of students walking, riding, and even skateboarding with such enthusiasm so bright and early in the morning.  Everyone seemed to be enjoying the morning as they made their way to school.

At CMS, students quickly filled every bike rack! Such an amazing sight!  At Ormondale, smiles were abundant as students cheerfully participated in the day while several proudly announced that they walk every day. Such a beautiful way to start the day.

A special thanks to Lori Palazzolo, who helped hand out snacks at Ormondale! Also a big thank you to Kristen Shima and the entire school council for handing out incentives while encouraging students to walk at CMS! We couldn't do this without the support of our fabulous community of students and volunteers!
