Kindergarten Pajama Drive December 1st - 16th

As our service learning project, kindergarten is collecting NEW pajamas for children ages newborn to 16 years old. Sunday Friends, a nonprofit organization, has created a unique learning environment that offers families a working alternative to charity. Children and their parents earn the things they need through a variety of collaborative, carefully crafted activities, such as making gifts for children in hospitals, preparing healthy meals during the program, writing letters to the Sunday Friends community and participating in integrated, hands-on life skills training classes such as money management, English proficiency and parenting effectiveness. Help our kinder friends collect pajamas during this two week drive! Collection boxes will be in the office and on the kindergarten playground. Thanks for supporting!

Portola Valley Schools Foundation

The Annual Campaign Ends in Just 5 Days

The Portola Valley Schools Foundation annual campaign is ending in just 5 days!  Thanks to those who have already donated, we are getting close to achieving our fundraising goal of $900,000 to to complement the District's other sources of funding for the 2015-2016 school year.

But with the campaign ending in just 5 days, only 63% of District families have donated, leaving us well short of reaching our goal of having 80% of all families participating. If you still haven't participated, please consider donating whatever amount is meaningful to your family.  Every donation gets us closer to our goal, and your generosity demonstrates support for the programs and services that benefit all of our students. Drop your check in the collection boxes in the Ormondale and Corte Madera offices, or donate now online.
