Pajama Drive

Pajama Drive Mon Dec 1- Fri Dec 12

As our service learning project, kindergarten is collecting NEW pajamas for children ages newborn to 16 years old. Sunday Friends, a nonprofit organization, has created a unique learning environment that offers families a working alternative to charity. Children and their parents earn the things they need through a variety of collaborative, carefully crafted activities, such as making gifts for children in hospitals, preparing healthy meals during the program, writing letters to the Sunday Friends community and participating in integrated, hands-on life skills training classes such as money management, English proficiency and parenting effectiveness.

Help our kinder friends collect pajamas during this two week drive!  Collection boxes will be in the office and on the kindergarten playground. Thanks for supporting!

Want to Buy a Pair of Shoes for a Child Living at a Shelter?

Girl Scout Troop 30053 Will Do the Shopping for You.

Please consider helping our Girl Scout Service Project by purchasing a pair of shoes for a specific child this holiday season.

We are measuring the foot of every single child living in an InnVision/Shelter Network family facility in San Mateo and Santa Clara county.  We have over 350 kids who would love a new pair of shoes to get them through the wet winter months.

Can you help by shopping and purchasing some shoes?  This is a great hands-on way for families to help local kids in a real and meaningful way.

Please email me and tell me how many pairs of shoes you are willing to donate.  These shoes range in price from about $15 for small children up to as much as $30 for older teens.  If you don't have time to shop, make a cash donation and our Girl Scouts will shop for you.  Receipts for your donation are available so you can claim a tax donation.

Specific shoe wishes will be sent to you and will need to be delivered by Fri, Dec 12. A central Portola Valley drop off site will be announced or we can arrange pick up for you.

Give a gift this holiday season that will be appreciated every single day!
