ORM Photo Day
The Ormondale Photo Day was a success thanks to Sarah Byrne and Kirstin Dahm -- nothing like organizing photos of over 200 kids in the course of a single day. We all look forward to those priceless Class Pictures.
|
Ormondale Halloween Parade
The Halloween parade will happen on Fri Oct 31, from 8:15 to 9:00 am on the blacktop. Class celebrations are 9:00 - 10:15 am. The students will change into school clothes after the celebrations. This is a fun community event, with a lot of student excitement! We ask that the students come dressed in costume for the parade and change back into their regular clothes after the parade, so that they can continue the school day.

ORM Turkey Trot | |
Ormondale Turkey Trot (1K and 5K Run/Walk/Relay)
Sat Nov 15
8:00 - 11:00 am
Registration is now open. Click here to register. The 1K is an out and back from Ormondale School to Cervantes and back to the school. The 5K is four laps around the Shawnee Pass/Cervantes loop. The 5K Relay is new this year: create a team of four individuals of any age or gender. Run with your best friends, or your family -- any combination of your choosing.
Prizes for the 1K and 5K will be awarded to the top three finishers for each grade and gender. Prizes for the 5K Relay are awarded based on team spirit (hint: wear a costume, funny hats, crazy socks, etc. Have fun!).
Lunchtime training will start Thu Oct 16 and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays during recess. Contact Kari Rust (Tue leader) and Hayley Leinfelder (Thu leader) if you can volunteer from 12:15 - 1:00 pm to help keep track of the number of laps run by the kids.

Thank you to all who donated to the Annual Campaign by Donation Day to help us unlock the Challenge Grant! We did it! We're excited to continue to work together to achieve our goal of $900k by Fri, Dec 12 and achieving a goal of over 80% participation. We're currently at under 60% participation, so we need your help if you haven't already donated or pledged. Every donation makes a difference in helping our amazing schools! Donations can be delivered to the Ormondale office, the District office or made online at pvschoolsfoundation.org.

Auction/Gala Event Volunteers
Calling for Auction/Gala Event Volunteers
Every other year, our PV Schools Foundation hosts an exciting night of dinner, dancing, silent and live auction to raise money for our schools. This year, adventure awaits you at the "Sunset on the Serengeti" Auction on Sat May 16, 2015.
We invite you to unite in our efforts to organize this fabulous celebration by joining our steering committee. Our business, auction, and party teams have started to form, and there are still a number of opportunities to help us organize this fantastic event. There are also plenty of volunteer roles the night of the event so that even the most over-committed among us can still help out!
To join the committee or if you have any questions, please email us at
