Thank you to those who helped welcome us to school. For the Kindergarten Welcome events, thanks Sarah Byrne, Tricia Christensen, Katherine Gilpin, and Laura Symon. And thanks to Carolina Reyes and her family for the Welcome Back Coffee.
Ormondale Breakfast club needs volunteers
Please come help serve breakfast to those who most need one. Monday-Friday 7:45-8:15
Back-to-School BBQ on September 5 - 5:00 - 7:00 pm Come celebrate the return to school with a family-style barbecue! The PTO will provide the barbecue and plates, napkins, cups and utensils. We're asking families to bring a dish to share: sides, salads or fruit for dessert (please no sweets and all dishes must be nut-free!). Please make sure you bring a serving utensil with your dish. Water will be provided but feel free to bring other non-alcoholic beverages for your family to enjoy and don't forget your picnic blanket! Labeled dishes will be accepted from 3:00 - 5:00 on the 1st-3rd grade blacktop. We need volunteers to help with set-up from 3:00 - 5:00; serving from 5:00 - 7:00; and clean-up from 7:00 - 7:30. Ormondale Lunch
Ormondale is in immediate need of Friday volunteers. Volunteers report at 11:50am and end with recess ending at 12:50pm. We are also looking for alternate volunteers who can cover a shift per need basis. Each volunteer receives a credit for one lunch to be used for their child at a later time. This school year is getting off to a quick start so please make note of the following dates:
Fri 9/5 Back to School BBQ, 5:00 -7:00 pm Join the whole Ormondale community for a BBQ. It's a great time to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones. Mon 9/8 TB Testing, 7:30 - 9:30 am If you'd like to volunteer at school, you'll need an up-to-date TB test (once every four years). It is a quick test and we offer them at school for $20. Thu 9/11 TB Test Read, 7:30 - 9:30 am Once you've had the TB test, you need to come back to have it "read" three days later.
