Message from the PTO
Welcome back to a new school year at Ormondale and Corte Madera!  We hope you had a fun and relaxing summer.

The PTO has many fantastic programs and activities planned this year. We will start the fall off with the Welcome-Back Coffees, 4/5 Cocoa Breakfasts, 6-8 Grade BBQ lunches, TB Testing (for parent volunteers), Photo Days and Book Fairs, just to name a few.  Please look at our new website, www.pvpto.com, for current news, CMS After School Athletics registration/payment, and a wealth of information.

We want to thank all the parents who have already offered to lead one of our many wonderful programs and hope that more parents will become involved throughout the year.  Please stop by the CMS Welcome-Back Coffee on Monday at 7:30 am and/or the ORM Welcome-Back Coffee at 7:45 am. There will be PTO members at both sites to answer any questions you may have and explain our many volunteer opportunities.

The PTO has worked very hard to simplify our messaging to parents via the new PTO Weekly, as well as provide an easy way to obtain information, through our website.  We will not be sending weekly e-mails via Home Room Parents (HRPs). HRPs will only send e-mails when it is pertinent to their class.  We hope this addresses the problem of repetitiveness and too many notices.  The PTO Weekly will have a bit more information than usual the first few weeks of school as that is when a number of events occur within a small timeframe!  So please be patient!

We look forward to seeing you Monday morning and hearing from you throughout the year. Any ideas, feedback or questions are always welcome.

Sincerely,

Heather Asborno - CMS PTO President
Michelle Bellomo - CMS PTO Vice-President
Susan McLaughlin - ORM PTO President
Sarah Dorahy - ORM PTO Vice-President

NorCal Crew Open House - Learn to Row!
Sat Sep 6, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, 1450 Maple Street, Redwood City
Join us at our boathouse and learn about joining the NorCal Crew novice team. We welcome middle school and high school students
- no experience required!

Why row with NorCal Crew? NorCal is a competitive rowing club that creates an environment where athletes find the ultimate way to stay in shape, make new friends, learn how to achieve goals, and develop as a person both physically and mentally. Rowing in high school can lead to college recruitment opportunities. This is a great opportunity to meet current members of the NorCal Crew team and learn about crew as a sport. Please RSVP for the open house to
[email protected] or visit our website for more information
www.norcalcrew.org. Click here for a copy of the flyer.
