| From the Media Center |
BOOK RETURN IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!
Here are some things to do as we approach the end of the year....
-
Ask your students if they have their books ready to return at the end of the year. Have them remove all post-its, papers, and erase all pencil markings.
-
Have students check follett.lvusd.org for books they have checked out (barcodes must match). Students can log in with their student email username and their school ID for their password.
-
Students will need to bring their books to the final exam to return them as a class.
-
Make sure they have returned their English novels.
-
If they are NOT using their textbook, have them return it.
-
There will be a couple "FEE FREE" days in May for library material. Students should listen to the morning announcements for dates.
-
Textbooks, library material and fines will NOT be collected during the Summer. If your child has not cleared their account by the last day of school, June 8th, fall schedules will not be released.
FOR PARENTS OF SENIORS!
-
Seniors MUST have ALL textbooks, library materials and obligations cleared by June 3rd, 3:00pm in order to insure they receive their cap and gown and diploma.
-
All materials MUST be returned before Seniors can participate in Senior Activities!
-
Students can check their record with the Media Center or can log into follett.lvusd.org to check their account.
FOR 9TH & 10TH GRADE PARENTS!
Students are expected to return all of the items listed below, and will be charged for any missing or damaged items. All laptops will be inspected by our technicians, and any damage will be noted. Repair charges will be assessed and added to student accounts over the summer.
If your laptop is damaged and you have purchased insurance, please contact the insurance company (Worth Avenue Group) at 800-620-2885 and email the shipping label to support@lvusd.org for processing.
Students will be responsible for any charges incurred and will not be able to check out a laptop next school year until they are paid in full. If you have any questions about this process, please contact support@lvusd.org.
Replacement Costs:
Repair Costs: Computer cases should be FREE of pet hair and/or debris. If you need to replace an item please bring in a CHECK or you can pay via PAYPAL through the Media Center or the LVUSD website.
