Auditions for the Agoura High Choir Program Have Started. They continue until the end of the school year! Our choirs sing everything from popular a cappella pieces to Green Day, Jazz and classical pieces with the organ in Disney Hall. This last May our choir was featured on national news singing Prince's Purple Rain. No experience is necessary to join! We are looking for anyone that can simply hum a melody or sing a song of their choice. COLLEGE-BOUND MEETING FOR JUNIORS
Please join your counselors in the PAEC today, May 24th during Support for important information as you prepare for next year's schedule, applying to college, college admission testing, the Senior Brag Sheet, and more. ALL JUNIORS CONSIDERING APPLYING TO COLLEGE SHOULD ATTEND THIS MEETING. Counselors and students will be available after the presentation for questions. Please be on time so you receive answers to all your questions. Attention all SENIOR Students who took an IB exam in 2016: If you would like the IB to send your IB exam score to your college/university, please email IB Coordinator Mrs. McClellan cmcclellan@lvusd.org) the name of the selected college/university by June 1, 2016 in order to have results sent. Candidates are able to request results sent to one university or admissions center. Other requests will be subject to charges and can be done by the student at http://www.ibo.org/informationfor/alumni/transcripts/ English II Honors: There will be a mandatory lunch meeting in K-8 today, May 23rd, for students taking English II Honors next year. The summer assignment will be distributed at this time.
Attention all English II or Pre-IB Sophomores accepted into English II AP: A mandatory summer reading assignment and general information meeting will be held this Wednesday, May 25th at lunch in room C-7. This will be your only opportunity to get your summer assignment for next year!
Attention Sophomores and Juniors! Are you taking IB Psychology next year? If so, you must attend a mandatory meeting during lunch this Thursday, May 26th, in room K-1 to receive the summer assignments from Mrs. Anderson.
Attention all Artists, Writers, Inventors, Entrepreneurs, and Future Business Owners: What would you create if given permission to fail?

A message from the Media Center:
- Media Center will close on May 31st, and will only be open for returning items, paying fines and during Support for quiet study.
- Library materials (reading books and calculators) are due on May 31st.
- Seniors all textbooks are due by June 3rd, 3:00pm.
- Grades 9th - 11th textbooks and English novels are due on the day of the final in each class.
- Do not keep textbooks for summer school classes, new textbooks will be issued.
- Freshman and Sophomore make sure you clean or vacuum out your laptop cases and wipe down your laptop. All computers will be inspected in the summer; any damages must be paid for before registration in the fall.

All obligations must be taken care of before fall registration. Yearbooks, senior activities, cap and gowns, diplomas, transcripts and fall schedules will be held if obligations are not taken care of by the deadline. Reflections: Summer is a great time to create Reflections entries in Literature, Film, Art, Music Composition, Photography, Dance choreography inspired by next year's 2016-2017 theme "What is your story?" AHS turn in deadline October 2016.

Yearbook distribution Students may pick up their books at support, nutrition and lunch behind J1 along the service road starting today, May 24th. You must clear all school fines, overdue library materials, and discipline hours before receiving your yearbook. Students must have their IDs present to pick up their book. If you did not purchase a yearbook, a limited supply of will be sold starting Wednesday, May 25th at the AAC for $120 cash only, no checks or credit cards will be accepted.
Come and listen to your favorite Music from the Movies played live by the award winning Agoura High music groups on Wednesday, May 25th at 7 p.m. in the AHS PAEC. The concert will feature Wind Ensemble I, Wind Ensemble II, Wind Honors, Jazz B, Orchestra I, Orchestra II, & the AHS Symphony Orchestra. Please go to http://thepaecs.org for tickets.
Juniors! Interested in designing our senior class apparel? Come to room K-4 and pick up a form. Designs are due no later than Friday, May 27th.
SENIOR SURFERS! Don't get "LEFT OFF THE BUS!" Just a few more spots left for GRAD NITE. Sales are still going on until this Friday, May 27th! Do you Hear the People Sing? We Hope You Will. . .
On Saturday, June 4th, at 7 pm in the G-Building, students, teachers, and alumni from Agoura High school will be performing Do You Hear the People Sing?, a one-night only concert celebrating favorite musical theatre tunes, including those from Les Miserable. Join us for a night of entertainment and Mr. Beaton's last performance as a teacher at AHS. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased through performers, at the door, or in M-10 starting this week!

BALL UP CELEBRITY BASKETBALL GAME:
Come and see some of the best street ballers and high flyers in the gym this Wednesday May 25th. Tickets are $8 presale and $10 at the door. Doors open at 5:3pm; girls game starts at 6:00pm, Men's game starts at 7:00pm. For pre-sale tickets, please contact any girls basketball player.
Girls Basketball Tryouts:
Girls basketball will be holding tryouts for summer basketball on Monday June 13th at 2:00pm in the gym.
AHS Athletic Physicals and Clearance Days: Agoura High School Athletic Physicals/Clearances for the 2016-17 school year will be held at Exer Urgent Care in Calabasas on Saturday, June 4. The cost is $50 per exam and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Agoura High School Athletic Department. Please see the attached flier for detailed information.

Attention 9th graders-- If you still need service learning hours--there is a wonderful opportunity on Saturday, May 28th- Monday, May 30, 2016. The Topanga Community Club is having their 43rd annual "Topanga Days 2016 Festival" at the Topanga Community Club. This festival is LA County's longest running bohemian rock music festival. Graduation Tickets:
You will receive all of your graduation tickets after the rehearsal on June 8th, with your cap and gown. Any questions please go to the AAC.
Senior Transcripts:
You will need to order your official final transcript for your college as well as one for NCAA if you are a Division I or II athlete. Final transcripts can be ordered in the Counseling Office by June 3rd. The cost is $5 each and must be paid for at the time of your request by check (made out to AHS) or by using PayPal. Payment is required at the time you place your order. Edoc Transcripts will be sent electronically the week of June 13th via Naviance. Paper Transcripts will be ready for pick up beginning June 20th - please remember to bring a photo ID. No transcripts will be given without one a photo ID. All transcripts must be picked up by June 29th.
