Greetings, Charger families!
One of the greatest things about living in our community is the partnership with our cities. The City of Agoura Hills offers tremendous opportunity for our students and next week's National Public Works Week highlights just that.
Please encourage your student to join in the lunchtime meetings in A-1 to see if the field of public works might be in their future. Hear from real, local professionals - engineers and scientists - to learn about practical applications in the field. Participants will be invited to join the Mayor of Agoura Hills, Harry Schwarz, after school on May 19 for a VIP tour of the city's recent public works projects. Stops will include the Agoura Road widening construction site, the new Medea Creek footbridge, and the beautiful new recreation center. See below for more info and encourage your students to join in this special opportunity! Have a great week, Chargers.
