Greetings, Charger families!
We hope you enjoyed the long weekend. Now we enter the last week of April and then it's really countdown time until the end of the school year!
This week, don't miss out on a win-win event: "Once Upon a Mattress." The classic retelling of the "Princess and the Pea" fairy tale will be opening on Thursday, April 28th and continuing through the 29th and 30th. All shows are at 7pm with a 2pm Matinee on Saturday the 30th. CLICK HERE for tickets. So what's the second win? Your student can earn service learning hours by volunteering at the shows. The deadline for service learning is coming up SOON (May 6 for Seniors!), so CLICK HERE to register today and help out our AHS programs. Have a great week, Chargers.

| Grad Nite 2016 - Attention Junior Parents |
Reality Check! Your child is about to become a senior! As a parent of a Junior at Agoura High School, you may not realize what's ahead. One of the coolest things that happens for our seniors is Grad Nite: a safe and sober event in a secret location that happens right after graduation. It's a ton of fun, and the vast majority of the students partake. When your student registers next year, please be advised ahead of time that this is NOT the Magic Mountain trip.
It's the custom of parents of Juniors at AHS to "pay it forward" ... just a bit ... to help keep the tradition going. Grad Nite has been going on for over 10 years at AHS and it is because of parents like you!
It's not hard. It's actually fun. But, we do need your help!
The parents of seniors, like myself, will be at graduation. We need several dozen Junior parents to help with preparing for and doing registration, security and if you would like, attend the secret location event itself to see what it is like. Senior parents will help as well, but like you will want to do next year, they want to enjoy graduation, have time to take pictures with their kids, etc... before heading to the gym to help.
We, as senior parents, helped the prior year in the same way. Now it's your turn.
What do you need to do?
Volunteer a couple of hours on the evening of Thursday, June 9 starting at 8pm at the AHS gym.
Before you say "I don't have time" -- or "I have to work" -- please realize that we all have super busy schedules, and this is in the evening after dinner. We've even arranged for parking! We really do need your help, and it is fun -- and your class will ask the same of the next year.
Thank you,
The AHS Senior Class Booster Club Inc. - Senior Class Grad Nite
