Join us for our monthly Parent Faculty Club meeting this Wednesday, April 20 at 9am at the Agoura Hills Library Community Room. As always, we welcome updates from our AHS administration, our PFC and engaging guest speakers. In addition, we will present our slate and draft budget for the 2016-17 school year, which we will vote on at our May meeting. Click HERE for our agenda and committee reports with all the details.

Classes will be held at Calabasas High School. Classes to be offered are:

U.S. History
World Geography
World History
Semester One: June 14 through June 30
Semester Two: July 6 through July 21
Classes start at 7:30 a.m. and end at 12:50 p.m.
Strategies for Success - One-Day Workshop
June 24 or July 15
This workshop is geared to students entering 9th grade in the fall.
*NEW FOR 2016* The College Essay - Three-Day Workshop
June 24, July 9 and July 15
This is a series of three workshops for current 11th grade students who will be entering 12th grade in the fall. Students will be guided through the process of writing their College Application Essays. Enrollment is limited to 30 students.
Students do not need to attend summer school to enroll in the workshops.

| Senior Transcripts |
SENIORS! You will need to order your official final transcript for your college, as well as one for NCAA if you are a Division I or II athlete.
Final Transcripts can be ordered between April 25th and June 3rd in the Counseling Office. The cost is $5 each and must be paid for at the time of your request by check (made out to AHS) or by using PayPal. We cannot accept IOU's - transcripts must be paid for when ordered.
Edoc Transcripts will be sent electronically the week of June 13th via Naviance, Paper Transcripts will be ready for pick up beginning June 20th - please remember to bring a photo ID. No transcripts will be given out without one. All transcripts must be picked up by June 29th.
PLEASE NOTE: No transcripts will be mailed from AHS!

| Career Week is Coming! |
Career Week is coming April 18-21 Look in Naviance under College Visits, listen to announcements, and watch for emails to find out who will be here. Each day at lunch there will be representatives from different career areas to explain how to enter the specific fields students might be interested in. So far we will have esthetician, manicuring, surgical technology, respiratory therapy, medical assistant, EMT,welding culinary, cosmetology, water science, fire technology, architecture/drafting, multimedia, graphic design/game design, US Navy, US Air Force and the Sheriff's Dept. I am awaiting several more responses, so there should be more!! They will have tables in the quad at lunch. Please show your appreciation for their efforts by visiting with them and learning about these careers.

Is your student taking the upcoming AP tests, need help with standardized testing or struggling with the college process? Agoura High School has a new resource called "The Testing and Education Reference Center" that grants students access to hundreds of practice tests for AP exams, the SAT, SAT Subject Tests, the ACT and so much more! You can even find a resume builder, information on the college process and scholarships. The service is free and can be accessed HERE.Please note you will need a Calabasas Library Card if you are not accessing the site at school. Good luck on your exams!

THE Event is Happening!

The Event, a fundraiser benefiting the entire Las Virgenes Unified School District, will be held on Saturday, May 21st at the Calabasas Civic Center. Tickets are on sale now!
Be a part of this magical evening under the stars and enjoy tastings from premiere local restaurant and wineries; peruse must-have, one-of-a-kind items during the silent and live auctions; and experience an amazing concert performance that will literally have you dancing in the street!
