AHS Parent Drop-In - Media Center Thursday, April 7th from 3:00 - 6:00pmAHS Counselors will be available for AHS parents and students to answer questions about course selections for the 2016/17 school year.

Senior Information Meeting:A meeting will be held on April 12th during 3rd period in the PAEC. This meeting is mandatory for all seniors who wish to participate in senior activities, including Prom, Magic Mountain and the Senior Brunch/Picnic. Please report to your 3rd period class on April 12th before going to the PAEC.
College Banners and Diploma Frames
are now available for purchase. A professionally printed banner featuring your child's name and college they plan to attend will be hung on the fencing of the stadium proudly for everyone to see. Plus, if you choose, an AHS personalized diploma frame to keep your diploma in perfect condition! Senior Prom will be on May 21st at the Fess Parker Doubletree Hotel in Santa Barbara. Tickets are $90 per person and can be purchased on the webstore through May 6th. In person ticket sales will be in the AAC from April 25th through May 6th. Transportation will be provided for those who are interested. You must make a reservation at the AAC no later than May 6th.

All students! Once you have completed your 15 hour per year requirement, you can apply for the SERVICE LEARNING AWARDS for any additional hours. These applications are due in room C-1 by the deadlines set for each grade. If you have any questions, please come to C-1 to talk to Mrs. Diament or Ms. Capretta.

The City of Malibu has several community service opportunities during the month of April:
· Chumash Day is Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 11:00am- 7:00pm and Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 10:00am- 5:00pm at Malibu Bluffs Park 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu. Event prep is on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 1:00 - 5:00pm. Help is needed with setup and vendor check in. Please contact Kristin Riesgo at kriesgo@malibucity.org or call 310-456-2489 ext. 350. · Malibu Cars and Coffee is held the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 7:00am- 10:00am at the Malibu Bluffs Park. Assist with directing cars in the parking lot, set up and clean up. White Oak Elementary School is having their "Family Science Night" on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. They need students who are taking advanced science classes and are excited to help teach science to elementary school children. Please contact Shoshana Brower at 805-496-6968.
The Agoura Hills Recreation & Event Center is having a "Vantastix Night to Remember with Dick Van Dyke," part one of the Once City One Book program
on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 5:30pm - 9:30pm. There are numerous events where volunteers are needed. Please contact Donna Conlin at 818-597-7325.
United Track:
Volunteers are needed during United Track home meets to staff the Snack Shack.
All meets are on Saturdays and there are two shifts (8:00 - 11:30am and 11:30 am - 3:00pm). The dates are 4/16, and 4/30. Volunteers must sign up in advance to receive service hours.Please contact Tamar Nadell at tamarnadell@yahoo.com
