From the College and Career Center
Alumni Day is coming!  On March 23 during lunch in A1, come hear from AHS graduates from the classes of 2010-2015 about what they are doing since graduating from Agoura.  There will be students representing all routes - community college, 4-year college, trade schools, work.  Please come support these alums who are coming back to help current students.
From the Counseling Office
Course Selection - 2016/17
In order for students to confirm their course selections for next year, they need to print the Naviance "parent signature page", have their parents review and sign off on their course selections, and return the "parent signature page" to the AHS Counseling Office by Thursday, March 24.  If you have any questions, please call Dana Wortham at ext. 246.  The"parent signature page" can be found in Naviance - click on "course" and "course request" and print "parent signature page".

AHS Parent Drop-In - AHS Media Center - Thursday, April 7 from 3-6 p.m.
AHS Counselors will be available for AHS parents and students to answer questions about course selections for the 2016/17 school year.

If your student is having problems with their device, be sure to have him/her visit the AHS Genius Bar located inside the Media Center. Our tech support team is ready to help solve problems and perform repairs, update software, and share ideas.

New Test Prep Resources Available
The Calabasas Public Library has just purchased the Testing & Education Reference Center for LVUSD students. The Testing & Education Reference Center (TERC) database help users prepare for higher education and the work world by providing access to specialized tests for college, the military or trade school. The database also provides access to tools to assist in writing admissions application essays or resumes. This database offers:
  • Over 300 practice tests and courses
  • Dozens of ebooks containing valuable study material and practice tests
  • Information on over 4,000 accredited schools
  • Scholarship search featuring $8 billion in available scholarships
  • Resume builder with over 1,000 brainstorming phrases to get you started
  • Career modules covering subjects from career change to salary negotiations
While in school, students can access the database directly without having to enter log-in credentials. At home, students must provide their Calabasas Public Library Card information to gain access to this site.
