Did you remember to "spring forward" this morning? Daylight Saving Time ended overnight so remember to change your clocks. You'll want to get to school at the right time tomorrow. Yawn! Join us on Wednesday at 9:00a.m. for our monthly AHS PFC meeting. This month, Shelley Diament joins us to review the Service Learning Program. Hear about the goals, the requirements and the many opportunities that our students have regarding this important program. Of course, Principal Mercer and his staff will also be there to give us updates and answer questions. Our full agenda and committee reports are attached HERE. Remember, our PFC meetings are held at the Agoura Hills Library Community Room, 29901 Ladyface Circle, Agoura Hills. Good food, good coffee and good conversation always served! THE Event is Happening!

Calabasas Civic Center
The Event, a fundraiser benefiting the entire Las Virgenes Unified School District, will be held on Saturday, May 21st at the Calabasas Civic Center. Tickets are on sale now!
Be a part of this magical evening under the stars and enjoy tastings from premiere local restaurant and wineries; peruse must-have, one-of-a-kind items during the silent and live auctions; and experience an amazing concert performance that will literally have you dancing in the street! New elements for the 2016 soiree will include a beer garden featuring local craft breweries and an intimate farm to table dining experience.

Zimbe is Coming!
|
ZIMBE is coming to the AHS PAEC! On Sunday, March 20th at 4 p.m., Lesley Leighton and the Los Robles Master Chorale will present an exciting world cultures concert, bringing together the Los Robles Master Chorale, Los Robles Children's Choir, and the Choirs of Agoura High School. ZIMBE! is a work of South African music telling the stories of the fight for freedom and equality featuring piano, percussion, narrator, multi-media, and voices of all ages. Service Learning Opportunities

Do you need service learning hours??? There are many fun events that you can participate in March!!
The Agoura PAEC and Calabasas PAEC have many exciting productions coming up during the week of March 14- March 20, 2016. Sign up now at Volunteer Spot.
The Dole Great Race needs lots of volunteers to help with this huge event which will start Thursday, March 17th- Saturday, March 19, 2016. This is one of the largest running events in the Los Angeles area. Volunteers are needed to hand out registration packets, set up and tear down the Expo at Chumash Park, and operate check points along the race routes. Contact jodi@greatraceofagoura.com.
